John Buss
Owner and Head Mechanic
John Buss was born and raised in Oregon. Born on the southern Oregon coast, he later moved to Eugene then up to the Portland area. John has loved cars from a young age, and was helping his father work on engines since he was old enough to hold a wrench. He currently resides with his family in Hillsboro.
John is ASE certified and has been employed in the automotive industry for 20+ years. After years of working for other shops, he decided the best way to ensure the quality and workmanship of each job was to open his own shop. He found a building and decided to name the business after his daughter, his inspiration. Maddie’s Garage was first opened in January 2010 in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Gini Hughes
Office Manager
Gini’s background is in drafting, from architectural drawings for houses and churches to machine drafting for CNC routers. She spent time in Califonia, Missouri, and Arkansas before returning to Oregon.
